A Pitstop in NC

share on:
The Valkyrie Project's 1969 AMC AMX

It’s been a very exciting time as we keep progressing with the AMX’s complete restoration.¬†The car has officially departed from the High Performance Advisors shop just outside of Tampa and has traveled to Concord, NC where Keith Dorton and his Automotive Specialists team have been working on the engine.

Stopping in North Carolina also means that we reconnect with our Paint and Body lead, JoAnn Bortles, who is giving the AMX extra attention with a buffing of the car.

The journey continues from North Carolina as the AMX is set to arrive at Cool Hand Customs in Madison, WI, the shop co-owned by our Build Liaison Amy Fitzgerald and her husband EJ. Safe travels to Karen who is taking the AMX up north!

We also want to give a very big THANK YOU to Camping World in Jacksonville, Florida where Steve Little (Shop Manager) and Kyle Bozeman (Technician) helped us repair our trailer hitch. The duo helped us and gave their time as a courtesy to The Valkyrie Project.
